      hi i am pleased to see my father and two uncles names on list they loved appin inverfolla ,many stories told,we as a family have no idea what my father did in39-45 we new uncle willie was in the ROC,and also uncle duncan was in a tank regiment ,its good seeing their names ,thank you

      What a great list, well done whoever put it together, and the informants.

      Not to detract from that, just a detail, but “QARNS Elizabeth McGeachy, Portnacroish” should probably be listed as “QARNNS” (2 Ns) and under Royal Navy not Army.

      = Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service.
